  • You have basic cycling skills and bike handling knowledge
  • You’re looking to challenge yourself in a supportive environment

What kind of riding will we do?

Distance: 40-75 miles per day
Terrain: Steady mountain climbs and sweeping descents

Do I need to bring my own bike?

No, we have ladies bikes such as the Trek Silque S6 and Trek Silque SL WSM (available on a first come, first serve basis). However you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

What’s the terrain like?

The terrain is a mixture of climbing, descending and flats, with gradients around 8%. You will take on the Tramuntana mountain range with its sweeping roads, eye catching vista and sea views. The pace will be set by your ride captain to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Example Itinerary

Day One:

Arrive Palma Airport where your transport will whisk you off to the hotel. Our mechanic will be on hand to set up your bike and your tour guide will explain the exciting week of riding ahead. Short ride to check the bike fit and to get the body ready for the days ahead. Group welcome evening dinner.

Day Two:
Ride Day 1

First full day of riding, taking in the beautiful coastal routes of the island, including the hamlet of Deia, town of Valldemossa and the scenic Coll de Soller, before heading back to the hotel for a post-ride group talk with a professional cycling team physiotherapist.

Approximate total distance of 75km and elevation of 1640m.

Day Three:
Ride Day 2

Today we go straight inland and take on some memorable climbs and spectacular views. The initial climb up Coll de Soller is the warm-up and then we cruise towards Bunyola & Santa Maria del Cami, stopping at Alaro to refuel and recover before heading back to Puerto Soller.

Approximate total distance of 80km and elevation of 1847m.

Day Four:
Ride Day 3

Possibly the hardest and hilliest day, we take on the highest climb on the island - Puig Major. Today is about testing your legs and spirit. You will see the sights of Cuber Reservoir and descend the majestic serpent winding road of Sa Calobra. Following refreshments we reverse the ride, retracing our steps back to the hotel.

Approximate total distance of 72km and elevation of 2160m.
