Are you itching to take to the road on your bike, but your partner or family are not as enthusiastic as you are about cycling?

Does it feel a little unfair that you get to enjoy a break doing what you love, and they don’t? Do you need a ‘pass’ to go on another cycling break, knowing full-well that it’s never really anything more than a half-hearted “off you go!”

It’s a ‘catch 22’ situation; bring them with you and leave them behind at the hotel, or don’t and leave them behind at home.

What if we told you that we have solution to this problem?

Our guilt-free packages are specifically designed to offer a fantastic cycling experience for you and your cycling buddies, as well as a plethora of things to do for those who think that the sunshine symbolises a more laid back break.

We can organise activities that go above and beyond just sitting around the pool, and guarantee that whoever you travel with will be far too wrapped up in what they are doing to even notice that you are biking away to your hearts content.

Welcome to the cycling holiday experience that’s not just for cyclists.

Discover North Mauritius

This is a perfect opportunity to mingle with locals in their day to day life. Tour the city’s landmarks including the Champ de Mars racecourse, Saint Louis Cathedral, Place D’armes, the Jummah Mosque, the House of Parliament, Port Louis Market and La Citadelle (Fort Adelaide). You’ll also visit the famous Pamplemousses Garden which dates to the 18th century, home to many indigenous, endemic and exotic plants where you can marvel at gigantic water lilies, rare plants and giant tortoises.

Head to the seaside resort village of Grand Bay where time is allowed for lunch. You may choose to taste Street food (Mauritius is listed in Top 20 Countries for Street Food by CNN) instead of a restaurant. Afterwards take a scenic drive along the coastal road to the legendary Red Roof Chapel in the village of Cap Malheureux.

Explore Southern Mauritius

Discover the untouched and authentic side of Mauritius. Visit Trou Aux Cerfs volcano crater, the town of Curepipe to learn about its history and landmarks, stop at the sacred lake in Grand Bassin, drive through Black River Gorges National Park, see the seven-coloured earth and the waterfalls in Chamarel, visit a ship model factory, drive through salt pans and small villages as your guide relates to you the history, culture, customs and traditions in Mauritius.

Or there’s the south eastern coast of Mauritius and the most exotic and mysterious islands (Ile Aux Mariannes, Illot Phares, Ilot flamants, Ile Aux Cerfs, Ile Aux Aigrettes, Ile De La Passe), the very heart of the history of Mauritius, a blend of vibrant scenery, dense vegetation and wildlife in the turquoise coral lagoon will leave you with an unforgettable memory.

Conservationist for a day

Ile Aux Aigrette Nature Reserve is a small (27 ha) island situated in the Mahebourg Bay, about 850 m off the south-east coast of Mauritius. Unlike the mainland which is of volcanic origin, Ile aux Aigrettes is made up of coralline limestone. It is home to the last remnants of dry coastal forest, once found around most of Mauritius.

Like the mainland, Ile aux Aigrettes was affected by tree logging and land clearance, and the introduction of exotic animal and plant species almost destroyed the native fauna and flora. In 1965 the island was declared a nature reserve and intense conservation efforts have resulted in the restoration of the forest and reintroduction of rare species that had long since disappeared from the island. Volunteer for a day as conservationist to get an insight of the restoration work on the island.

Ile Des Deux Cocos

Chill out on a full day at Iles des Deux Cocos, swimming in crystal clear warm waters, snorkelling amongst the corals and shoals of bright tropical fish flitting around the offshore blue bay marine park or, if you prefer, visit by glass-bottom boat. On shore, there is also plenty to do. Laze on the beach or stroll along the small paths through native woodland.

Lunch is served either at tables in the open overlooking the ocean, or under the shade of a white marquee where you can sink into deep settees. Dine on delicious salads topped off with fresh herbs from the garden and grilled specialties from the buffet, while wine, beer and soft drinks flow freely.

You know you're on holiday when an ice cream cart trundles past laden with freshly made tropical delights. The afternoon is yours and culminates in a tasting of homemade flavoured rum to conclude another perfect day.
